Jen Fillman (formerly Rogers)
Jen started sewing at the age of eight. The oldest of four children, she began making doll dresses and minor crafts with her siblings.
Her first quilt was created at the age of ten for her baby sister. Since then she has made many, many quilts.
In 2003, she began working for The Best Dressed, LTD. As the assistant to the owner, Jen travelled all over the east coast working vending shows and helping to create Irish Step Dancing Costumes for the next several years.
Jen obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and now works for one of the largest fabric store chains in the country as well as a BSA Analyst for the premier Credit Union in the Philadelphia area.
Jen's three children, Hannah, Kristopher, and Alexander keep her very busy. She and her husband Mike live in Chester County, Pennsylvania with the kids, and their dogs Murphy and Stella. Quilting and sewing is Jen's number one passion and she continues to create and enjoy her work. In 2013, she created J. Flutterby's and it has been her passion ever since.
Award winning designer Judy Tatum has enjoyed a successful career spanning 35 years, creating one-of-a-kind creations for clients worldwide.
With a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising, Judy became known for the excellent quality of her work and was sought after by many companies. She, however, chose to follow her own path, which included designing doll costumes for Shader's Dolls, The Franklin Mint, Georgetown Collection, LL Knickerbocker etc., as well as creating unique wedding and special occasion attire.
Judy also contributed her talent to various organizations...... her church, where she directed the Children's Programs and Vacation Bible School, making and donating all costumes, The Girl Scouts of America, whereby, as a Brownie leader and Service Unit Director, she instituted many measures which supported the community and won her troop awards year after year. Judy was also involved with the schools that her children attended, providing costumes for the various plays, programs and competitions her children participated in.
In 1988, Judy founded her company, The Best Dressed Ltd., and as her business grew, she employed only the best talent, specifically, her daughter, Jen Rogers, who is following in her footsteps quite successfully.
It is with pride and joy that Judy is now a part of her daughter Jen's company, J.Flutterby's Original Creations. Jen's talent and commitment to excellence is the greatest joy of a mother's heart.
We have been making hand crafted items for over 20 years. Each item is uniquely designed for the customer with top quality materials and created with the highest level of care and effort.
